I'm Michelle Archer, a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator in Canada who has a vision for

Making a Difference in Diabetes.

I've worked as a Diabetes Educator for more than 20 years and focused my practice on meeting the needs of individuals living with type 2 diabetes and delivering client-centered health professional training programs to further Make a Difference in Diabetes. Our Diabetes Manager University (DMU) training program, offered both in-person over 3 days at various locations and also available on-demand online, mentors health care professionals to be more effective in their interactions with their patients living with diabetes.

I'm driven by my mission to change the way both patients and practitioners experience diabetes education and management, and community healthcare services. I know first-hand that the health journey can be better for the patient/client with improved access to trained experts and a supportive community. That is why I created my programs - to give people with diabetes access to trained experts and to give health professionals skills and confidence to meet the needs of their patients.
